We modify existing tools to meet new production requirements, thus avoiding high investments for new tools. Tool modifications are recommended for

 

• New threads (e.g.  light threads)
• New preform weight
• New preform design or
• Modifications for use with another machine

The upgrade set can be used without any modifications required at the machine or handling, preferably in the case of conversion to a new preform design (weight, size, thread) or tool revision (changed number of cavities). 

It includes:

 

• Injection mold with hot runner system
• 3- or 4- stage cooling plate (end of arm tool) fo fast preform transport / post mold cooling
• Innovative MHT unit for effective cooling of preforms. Cold air supply and discharge via special, patent-pending cooling pins. Separate handling pins for save preform withdrawal.  

 

The MHT high cavities programme provides you with the opportunity to increase output without the need for retrofitting the machinery and periphery.
